A project that has one step into user's shoes. Individually, I observed real users interacting with vending machines,
interview these individuals about their experiences, created personas based on these users, and illustrate
a storyboard for one of my personas.
Iterative Design
I worked with in a group of 4 people to design an interactive interface for the emerging startup, Re-mint. We went through the full process of mocking up a solution to the startup's concept.
This project is split into four parts to exemplify an iterative design process flow: (1) sketching ideas of the interface, (2) creating an interactive, high-fidelity prototype, (3) conducting user
testing on a final, revised prototype, and (4) contacting the start up.
Development
This project gives us the opprtunity to develop an interactive interface, use interface components, and tie the components to an internal data state.
The goal is to get comfortable with React by creating a list-based interface.
Redesign
The goal of this project is for one to practice the workflow of redesigning a simple website - I chose the website of a gate business. Main takeways from this project is the gaining of the skills necessary
to analyze and identify flaws in an existing interface, create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes for various screen sizes, and build a responsive website based on those prototypes.
